Hello! My name is Christopher Blouin, and I love tinkering with technology and educating myself about computing, hardware, and software! I'm a graduate of Georgian College with a diploma in Interactive Media Design (Web Development). I'm striving toward a career that will provide me with an opportunity to express my resilience and commitment to creating unique experiences on the Internet ā that being said, I'm very excited to learn so much more throughout future opportunities to challenge my development skills!
Aside from development, I'm likely cruising around on my skateboard, shooting hoops, playing video games, crocheting, playing the guitar, or discovering life adventures with friends!

Sprout is an application for plant care management that serves creative and educational purposes. It provides an environment for plant enthusiasts to manage their plants through collections, reminders, weather updates, and learning amongst a vast plant library.
Solaris is a solar system playground application that allows users to create custom-crafted planets, view relevant information about our current and most recognizable solar system. The platform also serves as a news outlet where users can seek up-to-date information on various space launch topics.
Based on my favourite adventure game, Hallow Knight, Buglore features a unique image gallery of the game's environments and journalism task tracker functionality for those who frequently lose track of their progress or would like to track their adventures. The application features secure CRUD functionality.
Automoblox sported an outdated website, the redesign project focused on modernizing the official web domain that no longer exists. The goal was to revive Automoblox through crafting a sleek interface utilizing modern web layout techniques allowing the brand to thrive throughout the imaginative toy industry.
Amongst my most valuable learning experiences in terms of collaboration. Dr. Chris Houser, Dean of Science at the University of Waterloo, assigned my team over my final college semester to develop a predictive warning system web application for Station Beach in Kincardine, Ontario addressing beach safety concerns.

An overview of the renowned best-seller novel QualityLand, serving as a marketing campaign to educate visitors of the work involved. Built with user experience in mind utilizing Bootstrap to alleviate overwhelming users with information.
Emperor is a fictitious music streaming application built to strengthen my CSS skills through practice of crafting unique and flexible layouts using modern CSS techniques. This project was a great test on developing layout and colour design skills.
Howlish Forest is a CSS focused project challenge developed through following strict guidelines from the well known CSS Style Stage created by Stephanie Eckles. This project demonstrates the importance of the CSS cascade to ensure efficiency and maintainability.
The Hallow Knight Gallery Wiki was my first of many small JavaScript projects to understand basic browser document manipulation. Users can browse the various locations throughout the popular video game Hallow Knight while learning insightful information.
Random Unplash Image Generator developed to practice my JavaScript skills of accessing APIs while reading documentation. This application allows users to access relevant information about retrieved Unsplash photos in a useful grid layout.
Here is a CSS movie poster rendition of the well-known Tim Burton film "The Nightmare Before Christmas." The project was a great challenge toward understanding CSS positioning and how parent HTML elements relate to their children.
The Raleway Font History project provided insight into the creation of the Raleway font family while learning how to creatively and effectively target HTML elements through pure CSS without relying on class or ID attributes.
A simple JavaScript project that allows users to build out sentences with the displayed user interface. The application features options to build custom stories or randomly generate a sentence. I took inspiration from the old children's storybook generation toys.
Building upon my fundamental knowledge of CSS and JavaScript motion graphic animations, I built this sleek day and night switch toggle to develop fundamental motion techniques while developing knowledge of popular JavaScript libraries, primarily JQuery.
